Sofsh's OCs
It's useful to have a list of my OCs, so here's one! This list only has a few of the "main" OCs relevant to the story I want to store on this site, but I'll probably add more with time!
For the active story, "later" characters are hidden behind summary tags, in case you want to avoid knowing what they look like until they show up.
Reece Archer
He/Him - Slime/Bug - Archeologist - Aro/Ace
Reece Archer (pronounced "Ark er") is an Archeologist living in the city of Spokes. He takes his job very seriously, trying his best to learn and document as much as he can about ancient civilizations, especially the Mages Order. He's somewhat unusual in this regard, since the allure (and reward) of magic items is the main thing motivating other archeologists. He has a bad habit of trying to puzzle out everything himself and tuning out both his own emotions and others.
He was roommates with Tress for a short while in college, which is certainly in the running for being the Most Interesting part of his life.
Tress R. Hunter
She/Her - Draconic (?) Fiend - Treasure Hunter - Lesbian
Tress R. Hunter (you can guess how its pronounced...) is a Treasure Hunter who lives in a cave outside of Spokes. She explores the countless ruins that dot the land in search for treasure (read: shiny and/or fun stuff). Lots of practice has made her keen to a lot of the tricks of ruins, although her interesting luck means she has to deal with more of these "tricks" than most. She puts a lot of trust into working things out as things go and following hunches, but she doesn't tend to take things as seriously as they deserve. Still, she tries her best.
Although being a fiend means she's been affected by some kind of magic item, its not exactly clear what that item was... She has a fondness for dragons, meaning basically any mythical, magical being (this does mean some non-dragony things are considered dragons, but blame taxonomy for that).
Mage of Friendship
Roc
He/Him - Feathered Kangaroo - Mage of Friendship
Believed to be a Legendary Bird this guy is, uh, mostly just a Kangaroo. As the Mage of Friendship, it is his duty to represent and encourage all forms of friendship. He runs the Temple of Friendship, where it is his duty to reward a prize to those who visit him displaying exemplary friendship. He definitely seems motivated to do a good job! But he still hasn't had the chance to give out his reward...
As a mage, he is capable of using magic to enchant items to do something unusual when certain things happen. He also is seemingly immortal. He has lived a long life.
